Never. Didn't enjoy a minute of it. Beautiful day, shitty day, didn't matter.

With JWs cheating comes in waves. Once one or two start in a cong or area, several more unfaithful spouses are found out. A year later, all back under the rug

Imitate the Faith of Moses Study Article
by Rattigan350 inthe study article imitate the faith of moses study article, is the same old blah that they always have.

something when he was 40 years old when he was in egypt and when he was in the wilderness at the burning bush, an angel communicated with him.. .

Is this the same Moses that happily committed genocides at yahweh's bidding?
The same Moses who after coming down from the mountain carrying the tablets containing the Ten Commandments, found the Israelites dancing around a golden calf? Got so mad he ordered them all killed. Stopped after 30,000 people died. Only 30,000! How loving. Great example to follow.
Gotta love the bible. Imitate Moses and you'll be in prison where you belong.

You have no need of anyone to teach you anything
by cassuk11 inthe truth is within you and god himself teaches us all the truth.we cannot find it in a building or religion.
the fusion between humankind and god was sealed by messiah in the 1st century.
until many recognise the kingdom within there will always be divsions, confusion, etc etc.

This decade - the 2010's - your view of so far
by berrygerry ini had a relative exhort me to attend sunday am of the rc, to which i said no, already read the points online.. i said that i find this decade to be the most enjoyable.. people are relaxed, people have piercings, tats, hair colour du jour, facial hair, yoga pants (okay, not so great with the people of walmart videos), etc., and no one gets a second glance.. the music is awesome, movies are pretty good.. everyone still has their trials and tribulations, bad relationships, economic swings, etc.. but i feel happy.. the posted highlights from sunday am were:.
anticipate future kingdom blessings!.
a world without satan (revelation 20:2,3,7,10).

I was "totally" stopped in my tracks by an "atheist" comment.
by booker-t ini must admit i can at times be a little "egotistical" when it comes to knowledge and the bible.
i have studied the bible for so long and have always had a passion for the bible as a jw and as an ex-jw.
i guess that is all i have left when it comes to religion and as humans we do tend to stroke our egos.

Congrats! That's the feeling of your eyes opening.
So if it is just a story, why did Jesus believe it? Was he fooled as well? Keep following this train of thought.
then do the same with the Adam and Eve story, and finally Jesus. Good luck

The resolution was actually passed!
by stillin inwho would have thought that enough people would raise their hands when the resolution was put before the congregation tonight?
based on the pledges that the publishers put on those little pieces of paper, the congregation is promising the wts that they will send $1,000/month to support the society's building funds.. there is a traditional monthly shortfall of about $100 with the basic monthly bills usually around $1,000.
i didn't raise my hand.

"Honour" Killing in Pakistan
by cofty in25 year old farzana iqbal was stoned to death by a crowd led by her own father and two of her brothers outside the high court in lahore yesterday.. her crime was to reject her cousin, who her family had decided she should marry, and fall in love with a man of her own choosing.. thousands of women are murdered every year in so-called "honour killings" but convictions are very rare.
pakistani law permits victim's families to forgive a murderer, but in these cases the killers are family members who are nominated to carry out the execution by the rest of the family.. this is what happens when you allow a mysogynistic religion to influence secular law.. reuters report...l.

How can christians see this and be disgusted? Their favourite book is full of the same laws. Sharia law isn't so different from mosaic law.

I'm pretty sure it's a requirement in my neck of the woods to be an elder. Serve-us hours? Check. full stache from nose to lip? Check... He's in!
